IMPORTANT MESSAGE: BOOK SIGNING In Yorkton POSTPONED

It is with a very apologetic heart that I must inform you that the Book Signing at EKK in Yorkton, planned for this Saturday, Feb. 1st, must be postponed until I receive (get this) my shipment of books. Although they were supposed to arrive by January 25th "at the latest", the powers that I have no control over have now informed me that it is an impossibility for them to get my books here before February 1st.

Today, they've assured me that they'll be in my possession no later than February 10th, and probably sooner. Of course, I am wary, but be assured that, God willing, I will be in Yorkton ASAP after I receive the shipment, and I will communicate the exact date(s) as soon as I can, as well.

I am so very sorry that this has happened, but it's at times like these that (after a good cry) I must reflect on what God is teaching me. As usual, it involves patience, and I can gratefully report that I didn't lose my cool during the hour-long conversations I've had with Amazon today. Of course, the last poor guy was probably a little shocked when I began crying, but he'll get over it.

As I said in my last blog, God has made this novel come to fruition so smoothly, and with the blessing of many other hands that have helped. That proves to me that this stall must also be fitting into His plan for this particular story. I just can't see the reason right now, but HE IS GOOD, no matter what!

I've decided to share more about that in a future blog, as well as having another draw for a free book in my next post.

Right now I must send communication out to the many people who have so kindly reserved copies. If you're one of those, please know that I will honour the discount to you, and all my dear subscribers, when I hand you your book(s) in person.

These verses have sprung to my mind recently, and are very fitting for a day like today ...

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5&6 (NASB1995)

(Interestingly, if you want to purchase a book sooner, it is still releasing on Saturday, Feb. 1st, on Amazon. Who knows? You might get yours before I receive mine!)

I just know there will be a "Laugh at Life" article coming out of this, someday. Just not today.

If anyone wishes to communicate with me about this, or if you have a prayer request, feel free to send a message via this site, or email at pdjanz11@gmail.com, or text/call: 306-621-7544

God's blessings on everyone of you, and again I'm truly sorry.

Love,

Pattie Janzen
